There are also many clubs an societies, e.g. art, drama, history, coffee club, women's meeting. The village is a true community where people genuinely seek to support each other. On Thursdays a very active Youth Club meets between 7.15 p.m. - 9.15 p.m. during term time (hopefully resuming soon following closure during the Covid pandemic), and the programme includes many activities for 11-16 yr olds both on and off the premises. The group has about 30 members. LinksWe have close links with our Anglican friends at All Saints Church. We join together in shared services from time to time, advertise each others activities and participate in many shared events and activities. The two Churches also have close links with the village school with the schools using the Churches for some festivals and members of the Churches going into the school. The Churches also seek to support those who may be needing any form of help or support whether they belong to a Church or not is immaterial. Please contact the Senior Steward, Tina Ley (01769 550309) or the Church Secretary Betty Paul (01769 572456) for further information about the services or activities. |
